Quality Assurance

Quality is key and the Quality Assurance department make sure that our products are produced in accordance with approved standards like ISO, HACCP, IFS, BRC and in accordance with customer requirements.

To manage food safety, we use ISO standards, HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practise (GMP) to ensure that the production process is managed and our products produced to our quality specification and regulations. These standards and procedures are implemented globally to provide the necessary food safety. 

At our factory, Grøndal Dairy, we produce Danish yellow cheeses such as Samsoe, Maribo, Havarti and Fontal/Fontina, both plain and with various spices.

At the FoodPharmaTech Exhibition in Herning, Denmark November 2009, Grøndal Dairy entered 6 different cheese types in the Scandinavian Dairy Contest and won awards for all 6 products: One honour award, one gold medal, three silver medals, and three bronze medals.
