Junior Area Sales Manager

My background is an education as market economist and a former work experience as Category Coordinator for Meat purchasing within Retail. During my work, I had contact with Uhrenholt and thought it could be interesting to change to ‘the other side of the table’ and work for the supplier.

After an interview I was offered a trainee position in the Market Organisation. Because of my background within retail and my interest for this area, this was perfect for me.

In the Market Organisation, we sell directly to retailers all over the world – Asia, Africa, Russia and also Europe.

I work primarily with the European markets and for the first few months, I completed an analysis of opportunities in the Danish market.
Based on this, I put together a proposed product range for a potential new customer in cooperation with my manager.

I will gradually take over some customers and be responsible for developing the business with them which I am really looking forward to.

In future, I will complete HD 2 and I’m also hoping for expatriation in one of our offices abroad.
