History

Uhrenholt A/S has got a long history in the dairy business as Frank Uhrenholt founded the company 30 years ago in 1978.

Erik Emborg was also a keen business man and set up business in 1947, supplying the American forces in Germany immediately after the second world war.
 
In 2005, Uhrenholt A/S and Emborg Foods A/S became partners to develop and strengthen a worldwide presence as a leading supplier of dairy, seafood, and meat products.

Major milestones:

1947 Erik Emborg establishes Emborg Foods A/S
1978   Frank Uhrenholt establishes F. Uhrenholt A/S
2001 Uhrenholt moves to the present company head quarters
2005 Uhrenholt buys Emborg Foods 
2009 All activities of the former Uhrenholt and Emborg Foods companies are now merged and  marketed under the Uhrenholt name
