Production at Grøndal Dairy

Uhrenholt is the owner of one of the largest privately owned dairies in Denmark, Grøndal Dairy. The Grøndal Dairy has a production capacity of 180 million kgs milk per year. Among other delicious cheeses, Grøndal manufacture the famous Fontina cheese.  

At the FoodPharmaTech Exhibition in Herning, Denmark 2009, Grøndal Dairy won 6 awards in the Scandinavian Dairy Contest for different variants of the Fontina and Havarti cheeses. One honour award, one gold medal, three silver medals and one bronze medal.

The DLG Spitzen Qualität 2009 awarded Grøndal Dairy with one gold medal and three silver dedals for our Havarti cheeses.
